I'm Dev, a software engineer based in Bengaluru. By day, I'm a Senior Software Engineer at HackerRank, working on web engineering, software design, and accessibility. Along the way, I've built Android apps, shipped products, worked at startups, and contributed to open source through Google Summer of Code twice with the International Catrobat Association.
DevSebastian.studio is where I build the software I wish existed: focused, native Mac apps that solve problems well and feel right at home. I care about the details — speed, accessibility, reliability, and respect for people's time and privacy. No unnecessary accounts, no dark patterns, and no recurring charges unless they genuinely make sense for the product. I build and support every app myself, so when you reach out, you're talking directly to the person behind it.

- Every app starts with a clear job. I'd rather make a few things work really well than add features for their own sake.

- Good software isn't just about shipping. It's about accessibility, reliability, fixing the rough edges, and being there when something needs attention.
